Life is often described as a journey, but for me it has always been more like a series of smaller journeys, some of which we must travel alone. Making this album was one of those journeys. After years of travelling with the wrong guides and either going in circles or continually reaching dead-ends, I decided it was time to take control of my own fate, no one else to blame, no more excuses, just me and some of the many songs that had been gestating in my head for far too long. This album is the result of that decision.

Recorded between April and July 2009 at "The Bunker" - Berlin, Germany
